Salamanca Capital moves into logistics sector in Brazil

Salamanca Capital has sourced the opportunity to invest into Brazil Logistics Group ("BLG"), a newly formed company, incorporated to acquire a number of undervalued and challenged assets in the logistics sector in Brazil.

Salamanca has sourced the opportunity to invest into Brazil Logistics Group ("BLG"), a newly formed company, incorporated to acquire a number of undervalued and challenged assets in the logistics sector in Brazil.

Suitable acquisition targets have been identified in two sectors:
Fuel Storage – storage facilities for fossil fuels, biofuels, chemicals etc
Dry Storage – storage facilities for hard and soft commodities

Salamanca Capital and its investors will raise US$ 125 million in two tranches. Tranche 1 of US$ 25 million will be used to acquire 97% of BLG and will finance the acquisition of Fuel Terminal A. Exit will be in year 5.
